	Mexoryl Mexoryl is the trademarked named for the sunscreen drug also referred to as Ecamsule and Terephythalylidene Dicamphor Sulfonic Acid which is water soluble and inherently photostable. Mexoryl provides superior protection against short UVA rays, is highly photostable and the first sun filter available in a sunscreen formula approved by the US FDA in eighteen years (11/07). Mexoryl has the ability to block the entire range of short UVA rays (20-340 nm), with maximum protection occurring at 340 nm.
