Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 with PhytoMelanin – Tube

Suitability, performance and superiority of this product against other options are only guaranteed when prescribed.

SPF 30 Waterproof.

Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 with PhytoMelanin – Tube

Jan Marini Skin Research Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 Waterproof combines a revolutionary microscopic sponge encapsulation system, state of the art sun protection, a powerful antioxidant component and a superb hydrating complex.

Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant incorporates a combination of conventional sunscreening agents along with two newly developed non-chemical sun blocking substances that provide enhanced sun protection as well as exceptional skin recovery benefits. The result is a formulation that ensures continuous coverage for daily or extended exposure conditions with a broad spectrum SPF 30 rating that is also waterproof for times when perspiration or water sports may be a factor.

Unlike traditional sunscreens, Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant never feels heavy or oily, but instead gives a lasting oil-free matte finish that leaves facial skin with a soft silky conditioned effect as it aids in increasing and sustaining moisture content. This is due to microscopic sponge technology. Microscopic sponges are polymer spheres with huge numbers of interconnecting spaces that can entrap and absorb unwanted materials such as excess oils. Their nearly unlimited capacity enables the elimination of undesirable shine to be monitored continuously for all day control.

Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant may be used with any other topical therapies or moisturizers.

Assists in preventing visibly open pores.

Compare with Alyria Corrective Protection SPF 30 Oil Free Lotion.

Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 Instructions for Use

For the purposes of bona-fide photoprotection, apply 5 ml each and every day, irrespective of cloud coverage, to the entire face, neck and ears, and additional sunscreen to the hands.

Photoprotection may be enhanced by applying this sunscreen after Jan Marini C-ESTA Serum but not C-ESTA Oil Control Serum on account of texture contradiction.

Patients often prefer Jan Marini Body Block SPF 30 be applied to the hands and other non-facial exposed areas owing to its weightless and rapidly abosrbed texture.

Depending on professionally determined requirements, Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 is applied alone or after Jan Marini TGF Cream, TGF Serum, Age Intervention Cream or Age Intervention Serum as the last day-time skin care product within a protocol.

Individuals with substantially perfected skin texture, tone and colouring may often forego makeup by using one of the tinted versions of this sunscreen: Sun Kissed Bronze, Sun Kissed Sand or Sun Kissed Neutral.

Ensure you review the general and most pertinent information regarding sunscreens.

Please Note: in case of broken capillaries, the preferred sunscreen is Melbourne Dermatology Broken Capillaries Sunscreen SPF 30+.

New Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 Tinted SPFs

Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 Sun Kissed Shades Swatches

Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 with Phytomelanin is now available in a range of colours and packaging:

The swatches provided do not give an accurate impression of the new colours.

With the exception of Sun Kissed Bronze, the other tones are almost universally suitable, providing the barest hint of flatteringly translucent colour.

Individuals with light blue, gray or green eyes and very pale skin will appreciate Sun Kissed Neutral in place of the untinted sunscreen.

Those with dark green, brown or brown-black eyes and pale to light beige skin will appreciate Sun Kissed Sand, although lighter-skinned individuals may also use this shade for slightly more obvious bronzing.

Sun Kissed Bronze is suited to those with deep olive, brown or black skin only.

Each tint is seen to gently warm your existing skin colour without coverage or obvious signs.

In spite of the "sun kissed" name, the sunscreens provide the same high UVA protection as the pre-existing formulas.

It is somewhat unfortunate that "sun kissed" should be the nomenclature for these new tints – kisses from the sun's rays are all only deceitfully complementary and ultimately produce permanent (dermal) effects unpleasing to the eye.

Microscopic Sponge Technology of Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 Formulas

Unlike traditional sunscreen, Jan Marini Daily Face Protectant never feels heavy or greasy, but instead gives a lasting oil-free matte finish that leaves facial skin with a soft silky conditioned effect as it aids in increasing and sustaining moisture content.

This is due to microscopic sponge technology.

Microscopic sponges are polymer spheres with huge numbers of interconnecting spaces that can entrap and absorb unwanted materials such as excess oils.

Their virtually unlimited capacity enables the elimination of undesirable shine, as well as continuous monitoring for all-day control.

Two New Sheer Colours available for Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant with Phytomelanin

The Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 with Phytomelanin Tinted Trio.

From Jan Marini Skin Research, San Jose, California:

Jan Marini Skin Research, Inc. has announced the addition of two new colours to the tinted version of its leading Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 with PhytoMelanin.

The sunscreen widely recommended by physicians is now available in a shade for virtually any skin tone.

Jan Marini’s original tinted shade, a skin-friendly iron oxide mineral tint that deposits a veil of color providing a sun-kissed dewy glow to users with darker skin tones, has been renamed Sun Kissed Bronze.

It is joined by Sun Kissed Sand, a beautiful sheer golden hue, and Sun Kissed Neutral, our lightest shade, which gives just a hint of sheer glowing color.

Improving Tone and Wear of Sunscreens

Improving Tone and Wear of Sunscreens

Whitening of facial skin and thick, pasty product texture are two aspects of sunscreen use which attract criticism and are among the prime reasons sunscreens are rejected as an everyday proposition, despite their critical role in preventing unnecessary deterioration of skin over time.

Sunscreens and antioxidants protect against permanent changes in skin texture, tone, deep wrinkles, firmness, age spots (and other forms of hyperpigmentation).

A popular response is to eschew proper sunscreen use for foundations with SPF, or ultra-light/milky sunscreens – but these are not comparable.

Improving Tone and Wear of Sunscreens

A dedicated and generous sunscreen product is required to effect the product tenacity required for stated and lasting sun protection.

Foundations with an SPF of 15 offer only negligible protection. Their SPF in practice is only around 2 because foundations cannot be applied in a quantity adequate to reach their stated level of UVB protection.

An SPF of 2 will have no appreciable value just a few hours of its application, well before the sun has reached its peak.

Would you opt for an SPF of 2 for a day by the beach? Aging UVA rays are stronger and deeper-penetrating than superficially burning UVB rays, and for all intensive purposes they're just as much a feature on a hot summer day as they are on a cold, winter day.

Government drug regulatory agencies such as the FDA and TGA certify product SPF by testing for protection offered by an amount equal to a tablespoon applied to an area the size of the face.

So how do you ensure elegant, reliable sunscreen wear that's on par with the best kind of skincare?

Your Skin and the Sun: Past, Present, Future – October 2006

Your Skin and the Sun: Past, Present, Future – October 2006

Make no mistake, the appearance of your skin is inextricably linked to its health.

So do you know to protect it, or if already damaged how you can begin to return it to its former glory?

You may be surprised to learn that the solution is not just daily sunscreen use, "natural" skin care or Strivectin.

While certainly very important, daily sunscreen use alone has little visible anti-aging effect on individuals over the age of 25.

The latest Melbourne Dermatology skin care monograph, Your Skin and the Sun: Past, Present, Future presents only the most current and irrefutable prescriptions in a format everyone can grasp.

Present patients and clinic clients will a receive their complimentary copy in the next 1-2 weeks.
