Skinceuticals C + AHA – Resurfacing Firming Primary Antioxidant

Suitability, performance and superiority of this product against other options are only guaranteed when prescribed.

Skinceuticals C + AHA – Resurfacing Firming Primary Antioxidant

Skinceuticals C+AHA is a simple two-in-one product that helps keep your skin radiant and healthy both inside and out.

  • On the inside, a 15% concentration of vitamin C provides anti-oxidant protection.
  • On the outside, a 10% concentration of alpha hydroxy acids produces exfoliation, smoothing the skin, creating a more youthful appearance.

Skinceuticals C + AHA contains both glycolic acid and lactic acid, which slough off the rough and textured outer layer of the skin, revealing newer youthful skin under the surface.

Obagi Professional-C Serums are claimed to be more stable and deeper-penetrating for enhanced antioxidant protection, particularly against UVA, when compared with the deepest penetrating Skinceuticals Serum, Skinceuticals Serum 20 AOX+.

Please note: Skinceuticals is available for online order by customers in the United States only. This product ships from the United States. Australian patients can re-order select Skinceuticals products for delivery within Australia in accordance with their prescription by logging in.

Skinceuticals CE Ferulic vs. Skinceuticals C+AHA

Can I combine Skinceuticals Serums? I am already using Skinceuticals CE Ferulic but would like to use glycolic acid which I notice is found in Skinceuticals C+AHA.

Skinceuticals CE Ferulic versus     Skinceuticals C+AHA

There is merit in using these two Skinceuticals antioxidant serums together or in alternation, particularly if you have combination skin or a tendency toward uneven skin texture.

Skinceuticals C+AHA contains zinc sulfate and bioflavonoids which are useful antioxidants absent from Skinceuticals CE Ferulic.

The glycolic and lactic acid in Skinceuticals C+AHA are skin-resurfacing agents which also increase the penetration of the Vitamin C for greater antioxidant protection.

Therefore I do not believe Skinceuticals CE Ferulic can be presumed more beneficial than Skinceuticals C+AHA.

If you would like to use both, apply the Skinceuticals C+AHA underneath the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and reduce your use of Skinceuticals CE Ferulic by half.

To judge the difference in performance accurately, make sure you persist with any skin care changes you make for at least 4 months.
